Cell phone technology

Almost everyone has a cell phone nowadays. You can do almost anything with cell phone technology. You can play games on your cell phone. You can take photos, and even create a short video with your cell phone. Cell phone technology makes your life easier. If you missed your favorite program on TV, you can watch it from your cell phone. If you go shopping, you can use your cell phone’s calculator to keep up with the prices. Cell phone technology allows you to do almost anything.

Cell phone technology allows you to access the Internet. Using your cell phone’s technology, you can legally download music from the web, and save it to your cell phone, and your cell phone acts as your MP3 player. Because cell phone technology is so advanced, you should know what you want in a cell phone before you purchase one. If you want a cell phone just to keep in touch with people, and you don’t want to do anything other than talk on your phone, you might not need all the sophisticated applications of some cell phones. However, if you are one who wants all the bells and whistles that comes with cell phone technology, every application available is at your fingertips.

Technology has changed over the last 20 or 30 years of mobile phones. Many years ago mobile phones were quite large. Back then only a few people, compared to now, had mobile phones. In those days, before cellular technology, mobile phones were nothing more than radio transmitters and receivers. Each major city had a radio antenna tower that transmitted signals, and if you were too far away from a central tower, your signal could not be picked up by the tower.

Now with cellular technology each city has a series of towers that are called cells. If you are driving around in your car your signal can be picked up by one tower, and then when you start to get out of range from that particular tower, your signal automatically gets picked up by another cell tower. As you leave the vicinity of one tower, that tower switches you to the next tower nearest you.

Cell phone technology has made life easy. It’s almost a necessity to have a cell phone with all the latest applications. Most people have camera phones now. You might not always carry a digital camera with you everywhere you go, but if you have a cell phone with the latest technology, you don’t need a digital camera, because you have a camera phone. The screen where you see your telephone numbers displayed is your viewfinder. Depending on the type of phone you have, you touch a button and you have taken a photograph. You can transmit your photo right away to another phone, or to an email address.

Cell phone technology is getting more advanced every day. For many people, cell phone technology has replaced the personal computer and laptop. With the advent of the computer phone, with all its sophisticated applications, you almost don’t need a big computer anymore.

No where to hide… iHouse introduces Smart Faucet

smartfaucet

Technology is getting by far more advanced than I think I’m willing to admit or even begin to try to understand at this point. iHouse has just released it’s SmartFaucet for those who apparently never unplug, even while in the bathtub. In it’s sleek & sexy design you’ll find it’s much more sophiscated and filled with the ultimate technology.

SmartFaucet does everything a regular faucet can do all the while looking better and with many more advanced features. The SmartFaucet has adjustable flow, an internal heating coil to provide hot water faster, and LEDs that change color based on temperature. SmartFaucet comes complete with a face recognition system (using a facial screening application) so it can adjust the temperature and desired flow to your individual preferences. Not only that, but it also has a touchscreen display on which you can check your email, the temperature outside, even your calendar and much more!

It does look very cool but I think I will pass as I still prefer my water without electricity.

30GB Zunes Enter Frozen Coma for New Year

30GB Zunes Enter Frozen Coma for New Year

zunefail

Supposedly around midnight P.S.T last night, 30GB Zunes all over the world started to lock up then reboot, freezing at the end of the boot process. It didn’t matter what the Zune was doing, as one user reported his Zune freezing while charging it in his computer.

Microsoft hasn’t issued a comment on the issue yet as the problems started happening early last night, but they are expected to provide an explanation or solution early today. Some theories suggest that the time change with the New Year may have caused the problem, some think it’s a hoax, or maybe even a joke put into the Zune’s software.

The frozen boot doesn’t appear to be affecting Zune’s with firmware prior to the 3.1 release from November.

One member of a Zune forum has suggested that Microsoft provide users with broken Zunes with free Zune Passes which are similar to iTunes Gift Cards. Regardless, this doesn’t help the reputation of the Zune, and hopefully Microsoft can get to the bottom of this strange problem.
