Of course the tech news world is buzzing about Steve Jobs and Apple leaving Macworld soon, and the political world is buzzing about the Iraqi shoe-thrower, but the most interesting news hasn’t come out yet.
Today Digg introduced a new layout with a “friend” button under each submitters avatar. Well I suddenly had an urge to friend myself, I mean that would be sorta cool right? Besides sending a shout and receiving it two seconds later. I could do “shout conversations” when I’m bored too. Well here is how it turned out.

Background:
RSS feeds, everyone uses them, and they provide simple access to the topic that you are interested in. It is so much simpler to subscribe to a feed that you find interesting than surfing the internet each day to find other content that you are interested in. Just recently a site called Alltop appeared in a search on Google, and I’ve fallen in love with it ever since.
About Alltop:
Alltop is a site that organizes the best blogs and news sources into categories based on the content that they offer. For each blog or site featured, the 5 most recent posts are displayed. The idea is that since the best of the best is featured on their site, you will find interesting and informative content to read. Content is constantly refreshed every hour so all the stories and news are up to date. The categories are specific so if you are interested in a certain topic such as the Android software, then the content will be specifically aimed at that. Take a look at it, I’m sure you’ll like it. It’s almost like Digg - but with more content that really is informative and don’t get to the top by paying for diggs.
